Hollywood Christmas Parade TV Special Features
SNOW Along 3-Mile Parade Route
For Immediate Release
Hollywood, CA. November 27, 2005--“Wow! Look at that! Is that snow I see… in Hollywood?!” Exclaims TV parade hostess, Lu Parker. Millions of people tuned-in to see the 74th Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade live from Hollywood
Boulevard to watch the star-studded, celebrity event which featured the very first snowfall for the historic parade!
The parade producers wanted something extra special to kick-off the landmark holiday celebration. They hand-picked the effects wizards of Hollywood SnowFX to create their proprietary snow effect to be featured along the 3-mile parade route where many families saw snow for the very first time. “It’s always such a treat to see all of the wide-eyed, happy smiles that our SnowFX brings to kids of all ages.” Says Jeremy Vargus, managing partner and show producer for the L.A. based production company. SnowFX was also a major element used in the grand finale of Irving Berlin’s “White Christmas” segment which featured the cast of the smash-hit show performing a medley at the top of the television special.
