Desert Sin Dance Company Rises to the Occasion with a Spectacular Levitation!

Hollywood, CA. January 11, 2007--"Oh my God! How the heck is she doing that?!" Exclaims one of the hundreds of guests watching the Desert Sin Dance Company's latest show innovation that premiered today at the Los Angeles Convention Center for the annual international Special Events Show and Conference.

Show producers Jeremy Vargus, Samad Soomro along with Desert Sin Director Djahari Clark, collaborated several months on the new Levitating Blue Kali piece that features one of the performers levitating 12-feet above the audience [without the use of wires or harnesses] during the grand finale of the Bollywood meets Moulin Rouge-themed performance. "It's incredible to see Kali once again being taken to the next-level by RPI's magical innovations." Says Djahari Clark. "It is quite a surprise when the illusion happens since the audience is not expecting it!"

"Blue Kali" is just one among several dance acts popularized by the famed dance troupe, Desert Sin, whose work has been featured on stage and screen across the globe including a featurette on HBO. Desert Sin along with their exclusive production partner RPI Entertainment, has made their mark on the theatrical scene by combining signature dance pieces set to over-the-top lighting, projections and special effects. Kali's new levitation illusion tops-off the 10-minute, topless Las Vegas-style dance production. The illusion was originally made popular by renowned illusionist David Copperfield who performed the magical effect as a part of his repertoire in the 1990's. The illusion has now been added to Desert Sin's touring production as a permanent fixture in their highly-acclaimed, sell-out theatrical revue's.
